Demon Trilogy
Thousands of years ago, the great King of Athelon had banished his demon twin to the northern kingdom Kathros and sealed the border with a protective spell. Now the spell is weakening. It was prophesized by a blind seer that only the true heir of Athelon can wield the magick sword that would kill the demon lord. But the heir is yet to be conceived, and magick no longer exists in Athelon.
As the demons gather force and lie in wait for the spell to dissolve, three brothers must take sword to hand and accept their destiny. One is loyal. It is that very loyalty that threatens to destroy him when he finds himself torn between duty to his kingdom or to his heart. The second is brave. Yet, he hides a shameful secret. He must confront his past or risk losing his future as King of Athelon. And the third is lost. To free himself from the darkness he must first regain the soul he's lost. Hard to do when he never had a soul to begin with.
If Athelon falls, so will all the kingdoms as the forces of the demons continue to strengthen. What began thousands of years ago must come to a final conclusion now as the line between good and evil can no longer be distinguished, as prophecies are broken, and as brother forsakes brother, and new bonds are forged.
Book One » Demon Night
Sent to retrieve his brother’s betrothed, a warrior prince discovers his biggest challenge lies not in guarding the soon-to-be-queen from the demons out to stop the prophetic nuptials, but in guarding his heart against the one woman he can never have.

Book Two » Demon Temptress
Twenty-five years ago, he'd saved the wrong child and lost his brother, bringing back a doe-eyed child born of the night. Now the night beckons to his charge, a woman full grown who stirs less than guardian-like emotions from him, and he finds himself once more caught up in a fight to free her completely from the hold of the demons.
Book Three » Demon Beloved
He'd been forsaken, given to the darkness while his twin basked in love and light. He is the night. Treading the precarious boundary between demon world and that of humans, he answers to no one and belongs to no world — until a woman dares to call him hers and urges him to reach for a right that has long been denied him.
A Note From Mai
My Demon Trilogy is a new but very special project to me. It started out as what was meant to be a one-book escape from Zenith and truly evolved into an entirely different world, one as vibrant and rich as Zenith and Isengurth are. I fell in love with the story behind the creation of the demons and have created three brothers who have really taken on a life of their own. They demand much of my time and will stop at nothing until their stories are written. The first book, Demon Night, is almost complete. It is a special book to me because it starts a new era in my life outside of Zenith. Whereas Zenith exists purely on magick, Demon Night introduces a world of forgotten magick and focuses on the relationship of the three brothers. Two of the brothers have grown up together and known the love of family, while the other has been raised by the demons and knows only how to fight for survival. He vows vengeance to the older brother who never saved him and doesn't quite know what to do with the other brother who doesn't know he is a twin and that his twin is alive.
I hope to have their stories completed soon. In the mean time, you can read more about the first brother, Wren's story in Demon Night by clicking here.
Thank you for your patience and enthusiasm for my Demon Trilogy.
